Fly on the wings of an eagle tomorrow in the center of Plovdiv

Welcome tomorrow (July 19, Wednesday) from 5.00 to 8.00 p.m. at Tsar Simeon's Garden in Plovdiv, where the Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds (BSPB)  organizes an event, dedicated to the campaign “Life for the Eagles in Bulgaria”.

Every visitor will be able to look closely at an art installation of six species of real eagles, which are rarely found in our country – the Imperial Eagle, the Lesser Spotted Eagle, the White-tailed Eagle, the Golden Eagle, the Booted Eagle and the Short-toed eagle. Thanks to modern technology, visitors will have the opportunity to see the world through the eyes of the eagle and fly on its wings. BSPB also organizes a children's workshop for making Eagle's origami.

BSPB initiates a petition for establishing “National eagles’ day” in Bulgaria. The date chosen is 27th of June. The aim is to remind for the unreplaceable role of these birds in nature through information campaigns and educational initiatives. BSPB addresses this proposition to the Minister of agriculture, food and forestry and the Minister of environment and water.  You can support the petition here.
