Installing the first diverters in Bulgaria

The first batch of 796 diverters that reduce the risk of bird-power line collision were installed on power lines around Atanassovsko Lake within a project for the Burgas Lakes run by the BSPB.

Agri-environmental measures for endangered species

We successfully presented three new agri-environmental measures for habitat conservation for the imperial eagle, the Egyptian vulture and wintering geese. The measures were included in the National Agri-environmental Programme.

A large scale capturing and tagging of red-breasted geese for scientific purposes.

We launched the most comprehensive study on the migration behaviour of the Egyptian vulture globally and we identified the most serious threats for the species.

We installed the first live-streaming camera on a wild Egyptian vulture nest in the world.
