Proposal to declare a nature park in Belassitsa Mountain

Together with Bulgarian Biodiversity Foundation we proposed the creation of a nature park on Belassitsa Mountain. Over the years the BSPB contributed for the declaration of more than 30 new protected territories and thence – for the preservation of some of the most valuable sites for biodiversity in Bulgaria. Among them are: the expansion of Sinite Kamani Nature Park, Meandrite na Byala Reka, Patronka, Oreshari, Momina Skala, Golemia Sipey, Ribino, Gyumyurdzhinski Snezhnik protected sites, among others.
