From February 5th to 8th 1998 the BSPB organized an International Expert Meeting of IUCN / Wetlands International in the town of Kavarna. This was an important recognition of our professionalism and the quality of our international efforts.
Ornithological Olympiads – the entrance ticket to the wonderful world of birds
The first Ornithological Olympiad in Bulgaria took place in 1998 in the town of Haskovo. Subsequently, this initiative of the BSPB gained popularity and was organized for several years in other cities and towns too.
